Education Reform Legislation
Senate Bill 458 (formerly known as SB 24) has passed and was signed into law by Governor Malloy. This legislation reforms education vastly. Of particular interest to CASBO members, is the unified chart of accounts requirement for FY 2014-15. CASBO leadership have been in contact with the Governor's Office and the State Department of Education to offer assistance in the implementation. We will keep members apprised of the progress.
